Purpose
To present 2 variations of the Core Activities & Countries navigation and an updated layout to arrive at a decision on a design

1. Screen Space
- Reordering of header elements
- Typography in reduced size
- Two different navigation systems
1.1 Navigation
- Static menus
- PRO: Links are immediately visible & scannable
- CON: Takes up screen space
- Pop-up menus
- PRO: More screen space available for main content
- CON: User action is required to see links
- One breadcrumb navigation trail for deep pages
2. Accessibility & Compromises
- Low band, text size & languages in first position
- Ability to toggle banners. Sortable tables without page refresh
- More JavaScript files = heavier pages in initial viewing
3. Designs
- 1) Static Navigation - (Currently offline)
- 2) Pop-up Menu Navigation - (Currently offline)

- No IE testing yet!
Next Steps:
- HTML & CSS optimization, template creation of new Core Activities & Countries design
- Work with Paola to integrate new HTML code into CMS
- CSS browser testing and debugging
