Off to Cortona

Something’s changed. Bruce Gilden. Living life. Confidence. Lack of fear. Street smarts. Get CLOSE. Easier. Harder. Fun. Interaction. Laughter. Range of emotions. It’s a crappy world with repression out there. Gotta try and bring back some life, spontaneity to it. Get close to people. Smile at people. Laugh! Don’t need to talk to communicate. Too much talking. Do, show unexpected things. SOUL. Pictures need to have it. Know whether it’s a good picture straight away. Jumps off page (forget Winogrand-style editing now). Look for CHARACTERS.
